What is F.I.R.E? Blog #1

What is F.I.R.E? It stands for Financial Independence Retire Early. It can be a lifestyle for some. For me... it's Fire In Rajs Earth. Okay, I just made that up. But it narrates my story.

What is the drive in my heart and soul? What is the thing I want most in life? Is it to be financially free? Maybe it's to build my dream home? Or most importantly it's to be happy with my only, my one and forever. All is true but I think the thing I want the most is to make memories. 

You can say I have entered adulthood by working a salaried job as a Software Engineer. The pay is nice, but I am not happy. I took for granted the most important thing I had back when I was in school. Time. Sure I was busy then, but it was never a full commitment of an 8-5. I took time for granted. Especially as I believed I can do whatever I wanted after work. I can see why adults are so tired all the time now. Something about a full-time job takes a lot out of a person mentally. 

I have so many things I want to do. I want to learn a language. I want to practice an instrument. I want to cook new dishes. I want to vlog I want to record and play video games. I want to do a sport like kendo. I want to spend more time with my only such as going on dates or seeing new things. I want our time to be filled with memories. 

My life is complicated and I'm sure we will get into that in future posts. But I just wanted to leave this note. What drives you? The ability to make memories, the ability to be with my only, the ability to be free from finances. That's my desire. I gave up my time for the salary. One day I'll make enough passively to cover my salary so time is returned back to me. Until then... the grinds gotta continue.
